I originally just stopped by to ask if I could use the toilet—and my request was kindly met with a warm “yes.” That alone already made a great first impression! After a brief, pleasant chat with one of the lovely staff members, I took a quick look at the food on display… and then I saw the almond croissant. It looked absolutely delicious. I asked if it was as good as it looked, and she smiled and said it was even better. She was right. It might just be one of the best pastries I’ve ever had—somewhere between a croissant, a cookie, and a marzipan-filled dream. I was so impressed, I felt inspired to write this review! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and try the almond croissant. And just as important: the staff here are genuinely kind. A simple stop turned into a highlight of my day. Best regards Hifilars

I came here with a group of 7 so we tried the menu pretty extensively. The baked goods are delightful! From the sandwiches to the desserts, everything was well balanced and had the right amount of crisp and softness depending on the type of bread. The focaccia melted in my mouth and the tomatoes were so flavorful and juicy. Cappuccinos and Mochas were also delicious. But the best of all was the service and kindness of all the staff. We ended up coming here twice in our short 24 hours in Bergen and this was easily my favorite meal!

This place have the best drink menu of all the coffee shops in downtown Bergen. In addition to the hot chocolate they have matcha latte, hojicha latte, black sesame latte! I tried all of them and they are really good. The coffee and pastries are also great. Only minus is that the service was always pretty slow.

We had a brown cheese cheesecake, a special hot chocolate and a flat white. The cheesecake was amazing, as you can see from the photo the inner part of it is sooooo smooth, which compliments the top and bottom of the cheesecake. The hot chocolate was a highlight as well, the special one had half amount of milk as usual. It is much thicker but not too thick! I really love hot chocolates that are not too sweet, and I’m able to taste the cocoa beans without being too bitter and thick.

Great place for a quick coffee or a sit down for brunch. Cosy and comfortable with a good view, perfect for reading or just relaxing after touring Bergen. Menu selection is great. Try out the hot chocolates as these are their specialties.

Firstly I have to admit that I'm slightly byist. I know the owners and the effort they go to to get the chocolate beans directly from sustainable growers. The chocolate and cakes are a delight. Relaxed ambient, good coffee. Perfect
